A Brief History

2016

Founded in 2016 by Fresnel Software, Vitruvi was designed to address inefficiencies in utility infrastructure construction projects. The company was established by Bryan McIver, who serves as the Founder and Chief Strategy Officer.

2022

Vitruvi receives the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 “Companies to Watch” award. The award recognizes the nation’s fastest growing companies based on their revenue growth percentage.

2023

Vitruvi hosts the Vitruvi Summit, its first ever customer user conference in April 2023 hosted in Banff Canada.

2023

In July 2023, Vitruvi Software was acquired by Bow River Capital, a Denver-based alternative asset manager, to strengthen innovation and accelerate future growth.

2024

In April 2024, Vitruvi appoints Dave Walters as Chief Executive Officer and Mark Lemmons as Chief Technology Officer to lead the company into its next growth phase and expand its global footprint.

2025

Beginning late 2024 and continuing into 2025, Vitruvi advances product innovation and starts integrating AI capabilities.
