A Better Way to Support the Teams Building Infrastructure

Drew Morris joined Vitruvi as VP of Operations. Here's how your dedicated account team works and why the people you work with should already know your account.

In September, Drew Morris joined Vitruvi as our new VP of Operations. Based near Austin, Texas, Drew leads the teams that implement, support, and grow your Vitruvi workspace.

His first priority is simple: meet the people who use Vitruvi every day. Over the next month, Drew plans to connect with every customer. He wants to hear what's working, what's getting in your way, and what you need from us next.

"I've spent my career on the operations side, and the fastest way to understand a business is to sit down with the people running it," says Drew. "I'd rather hear directly from your project managers and field leads than read about it in a report. That's how we find out what to fix first."

A team that knows your account

Drew is also focused on how we support you. Every Vitruvi customer has a dedicated account team: a small group that includes an Account Manager, a Senior Technical Program Manager, and a Program Manager. Instead of starting over with whoever is available, you work with people who already know your setup.

Here's what that means for you:

  • Consistency. You work with the same people over time, so nothing gets lost in a handoff.
  • Familiarity with your account. Your team knows your processes, your configuration, and how your crews were trained. You don't have to explain your workspace from scratch.
  • The right person in the room. When an issue comes up, your team knows who to bring in, whether that's support, product, or engineering.

"When you call us, the person on the other end should already know your programs, your configuration, and what you're trying to get done," says Drew. "That's the standard I'm holding our team to, and I want to hear from you when we fall short of it."
